Michael "Mike" Andrew Lee December 20, 1967- January 15, 2026 58 years old Michael "Mike" Andrew Lee, age 58, passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on January 15th in Fairhope, Alabama at Thomas Hospital. Born in Oregon, his childhood was enriched with traveling around the United States, visiting every state except Hawaii. He was the youngest of three, often referred to as "the baby" by his older siblings. He was definitely a mama's boy. He eventually settled his roots in Addison, Alabama, where he graduated as an All American football player and held State track records at Addison High School. Mike has always been an entrepreneur through multiple, successful contracting businesses, along with starting his own rock band, Swamp Juice. Through his music and electric guitar entertainment, Mike could always keep an audience engaged and captivated. His love language was gentle, playful sarcasm. He was never too serious. He was just a big ol' teddy bear, loved by all. He enjoyed a good time, and he would always manage to add a joke or a playful, sarcastic comment to those around him, keeping everyone laughing and entertained. He had a heart of gold, always doing for others. He was everyone's "Uncle Mike." Once he moved to Gulf Shores, Alabama, he enjoyed spending time on the water with his family on his boat and Sea-Doos. He frequented The Keg often to enjoy a nice cold beverage and conversation. He still loved writing, singing, and recording music. He lived his life through music, encouraging those close to him to pursue the art. He is survived by wife, Tammy Messier-Lee; step kids, Payton and Dane Messier; brother, Robert William Lee (Sylvia); sister, Suzanne Lee Drouin (Gary). Along with a multitude of nieces and nephews: Megan Lee, Payton Lee, Kayden Lee, Brooke Ward (Wes), Reece Ward, Rynlee Ward, Lukas Lee, Jaxon Lee, Jrake Lee, Jett Lee, Madison Lee, Michael Lee, Maria Quick, Dustin Jr Quick, Memphis Quick, Scott McDonald, Ethan McDonald (Chelsey), Cash McDonald. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Maureen Lee; Grandparents, Stephen Hugh Jones and Marie Nutt; Great Grandparents, Michael and Bertha Lucas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama. Visitation is from 11am-1pm. Immediate family will gather at 10:30am. Service will follow at 1pm, officiated by Kevin Baldwin.
