Mr. Dennis Wayne Robison

Dennis Robison passed away on July 19, 2026, in Alabama. To those who knew and loved him, Dennis was far more than the sum of his years, he was a steady and comforting presence, a man whose quiet strength, warm heart, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to be part of his life. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for, often without needing many words. His kindness, loyalty, and unwavering love created a foundation of support and comfort for his family and friends, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were blessed to know him. Dennis spent much of his early life in Flint, Michigan, before retiring and making his home in Foley, Alabama. He proudly dedicated 30 years of service to General Motors, retiring in 2003 after a career built on commitment, integrity, and perseverance. Retirement gave Dennis the opportunity to enjoy many of the things he loved most. He had a lifelong passion for racing and found not only excitement at the track but also a second family among the racing community. Whether at the speedway or spending time with friends who shared his passion, Dennis treasured the friendships and memories that racing brought into his life. Especially with Ricky and Tracy Brooks. Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gail Robison of Foley, Alabama. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Alma Robison of Foley, Alabama, whose unwavering love, strength, and care carried him through his health struggles; his daughter, Rhonda Allen (Scott); his daughter by love, Amber Callahan (Chris); and granddaughters Olivia (Chris), Marisa (Aidan), Holly, Kelly, and Charlie. Sisters; Jo Ellen Robison- Amaya, Teresa Long, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind countless friends who became family throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his son; Dennis Robison Jr. parents; Charles and Pasty Robison, Ilene (Lucky) DeBeauVais, siblings; Cathy Wright, Mark Robison. Dennis will be remembered for his steady presence, his generous heart, his dedication to family and friends, and the countless ways he quietly made others feel loved. His life reminds us that the greatest legacy we leave behind is not measured by possessions or accomplishments, but by the people whose lives are better because we were part of them. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Celebrations will be announced at a later date.
