Mr William Glass

Orange Beach resident William “Bill” Glass went to Heaven Wednesday, March 2nd at the age of 90. He and the love of his life, Mary, met in Philadelphia, Mississippi when they were teens and were married for 71 years before her passing. William had five beloved children, Barbara (Rich Sheridan), Paul, Sherry (Mike McCord), Michaela (Allen Hammell), and Thomas (Clare Glass). William was blessed to have 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Glass; son, Paul Glass; grandson, Jonathan McCord; great-grandson, Luke Atkins; and two siblings. William worked at Ford Motor Company for 36 years and later retired to Orange Beach, AL. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed shrimping and spending time with his family. We will celebrate his life and home going Wednesday, March 9, 202 at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
