Mr Houston Lamkin Sr

July 10, 1944 - December 13, 2021

Houston Edward Lamkin, age 77, a resident of Stapleton, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, December 13, 2021. He loved his family, his friends, and Jesus. Houston spent his life driving a truck, telling jokes, and playing his music. Houston is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Lamkin, his father, Edward Lamkin, and his mother Minnie Lee Lamkin. He is survived by his son, DeWayne Lamkin (and his wife Stephanie Lamkin), his daughter, Kimberly Lamkin, and his daughters Becky and Gwen. He is survived by his grandchildren, Tiera Lamkin Nordan, DJ Lamkin, Luke Lamkin, and numerous other grandchildren. He is also survived by four siblings. Houston’s family will receive friends Friday, December 17, 2021 for a viewing and visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Houston’s service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley, AL. Please be in prayer for Houston’s family and friends during this time.
