Mrs Christine Lawley Kelly Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Christine Lawley Kelly, 77, of Fairhope, AL, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2022. A native of Foley, AL, Christine graduated from Foley High School in 1963, after which she received a degree from Coastal Alabama Community College. She briefly worked for Vanity Fair in Monroeville, AL. However, she dedicated most of her professional career to Baldwin Mutual Insurance Company from where she retired after 32 years. Christine’s biggest passion was caring for her family, and she loved her friends dearly. Some of her interests included traveling, restoring home goods, antiquing, gardening, cooking, spoiling her dog Chi, and spending quality time with her granddaughters. She is survived by three of her seven brothers Albert, Barney Jr., and Harvey Lawley; and her children William Schneider, Nicole Arnold, Matthew Benson (Ashley), and Michael Benson (Whitney). She has three beautiful granddaughters she loved dearly, Chloe and Allison Arnold, and Sadie Benson, and another special granddaughter due to arrive in July, Siobhan Benson. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William Clarke Kelly, Sr., her loving mother, Bessie Lee Lawley, and her brothers Otha, Clifton, Curtis, and Cornelius Lawley. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 23, 2022, at Pine Rest Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Foley, AL. The visitation will be at 10:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00 am.
